Citerna - Volterra.This itinerary is spectacular thanks to the landscape aspect, dominated by  "balze" and  "calanchi", impressive cliffs result of a tormentet geological history. Very nice also the little ancient village of Fognano, Montebrandoni and S. Cipriano.

Nel territorio di Montaione è stata recentemente ripristinata un rete di sentieri segnalati percorribili a piedi, in mountain bike, alcuni anche a cavallo, per favorire la scoperta del territorio, entrando in contatto con gli ambienti più interessanti e tipici del patrimonio naturalistico e paesaggistico: boschi e pendii che fino a qualche tempo fa erano i luoghi solo di cacciatori e cercatori di funghi.?

Montaione - Mannello - Fornace - Terraio - Montaione This itinerary is quite short and very easy to do. In Summer time, because of the faster growth of vegetation, you can find some brambles on the way. The first part of the itinerary retraces the historic route that joined Montaione to Castelfiorentino, skirting the Orlo Torrent.
